CALLING ALL COACHES...

Have you ever had the unfortunate experience of giving what you thought was a great presentation only to discover when you listened to it afterward that it was permeated with “um’s”, “ah’s” and other unnecessary and annoying word fillers that have no place in public speaking? Suddenly, the message you wanted to send out to the world is unacceptable. Your first impression has been compromised. The cost of using a sound editing studio can be prohibitive. You would love to have a second chance. What do you do?

Several years ago I had a similar experience. I was interviewing one of the Internet’s very successful marketers and in the middle of the interview, an alarm went off in my kitchen – this high-pitched, screeching tone in the middle of my recording! It took us both by surprise and there was nothing that we could do about it.

After several minutes it stopped, but we both were a bit shaken and it took a while before we could collect our thoughts and continue. My guest totally understood my situation, but she had time constraints and a re-recording was not possible.

We completed the interview and on listening to the recording afterword, I discovered that in addition to the loud alarm sound in the recording, we had also engaged in some “off the record” conversation that had nothing to do with our subject, which was a book that she had written that I would be promoting in my newsletter.

What was I to do? What would you have done?

A recording studio was out of the question for me at the time. I had a newsletter scheduled to be published in a few days, and this person was scheduled to be featured in it!

There was only one thing to do – edit it myself! And oh, did I tell you? The file was on tape!

Analog. Not digital!

Did I complete the task? YES! Thankfully.

That was a little over five years ago. The result of that experience was the birth of SoundProFlo. I have learned to do things I never thought I could. It has brought many challenges from which a passion has grown. I really love what I do.

So, if you have had the unfortunate experience of having “crutch phrases” throughout your presentation, or unwanted background noise, editing those out for you will not be much of a problem for me.

You see, having also conducted teleseminars, I know the frustration of being human. Sometimes there are mistakes and circumstances over which you have no control. When your audio editor is experienced in both sides of the business, he/she is in a position to provide you with better service.

Here’s how you benefit:

  • You save money due to reduced editing time
  • You get a professional quality product without the expense of a state-of-the-art sound studio
  • You get PERSONAL ATTENTION - you're not just a “number”
  • You establish a relationship, not just an account because your editor truly understands your point of view
  • Remote recording capabilities (in some cases). I can capture your recording while you are in the comfort of your home/office, and I in mine

There’s more!

There’s also royalty-free bumper music, of varying genre, suitable for a professional recording. These 30-second files are added to your audio files both at the beginning and at the end with fade-in/fade-out sound effects, if you so desire. To hear a sampling of this music and for information on how you could benefit from having your own professional info-products, follow this link:

PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC!...

...whatever your "persuasion" :) Seriously speaking, I know where you can find some "funky" bumper music for your audios.

Listen Up! Coaches, Speakers, Trainers, Teleseminar facilitators; everyone who is some way is involved with info-marketing or presentations...

Have you ever had the unfortunate experience of giving what you thought was a great presentation only to discover when you listened to it afterward that it was permeated with "um's", "ah's" and other unnecessary and annoying word fillers that have no place in public speaking? When that happens, the message you want to send out to the world is now flawed. You don't have a second chance for a "do over". The cost of using a sound editing studio can be prohibitive.

What do you do?

You hire a sound editor who has the experience of also being an info-marketer.

Why is that important?

Because info-marketers know the frustration of being HUMAN. Sometimes there ARE mistakes and problems over which they have no control. There is background noise, (a ringing cellphone - I've even heard a flushing toilet! How's that for a distraction?) dead air, situations that do not result in a clean recording, that you can offer for resale as a CD or downloadable link.

When your audio editor is experienced in both sides of the business, he/she is in a position to provide you with better service.

  • You save money due to reduced editing time
  • You get a professional quality product without the expense of a state-of-the-art sound studio
  • You get PERSONAL ATTENTION - you're not just a "number"
  • You establish a relationship, not just an account because your editor truly understands your point of view
And how about that funky music?

There's bumper music too, some a little funky, and others more suited for a professional recording. To hear a sampling of this music and for information on how you could benefit from having your own professional info-products, , follow this link:

While you're there, play some funky music!

How to Save Time by Pre-Qualifying Your Potential Customers

We are now in Q3/09 in a S-L-O-W economy. It's summertime so business is slow anyway - at least, many businesses are. The "gurus" tell you: "Network! Build your list! This will make you money." Sounds good.

So you go to just about every networking event you can, collect a ton of business cards, and then...

NOTHING!

Well, not quite. You end up with frustration. You are certainly not getting an ROTI - a return on your TIME INVESTED. There HAS to be a better way!

What if it were possible to:

  • "interview" your potential clients
  • have a 6-minute conversation with them to determine if there is a possibility of doing business
  • end the conversation knowing what their business is, exactly WHAT they do, and whether or not a BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP is FEASIBLE

Well, I DO, AND YOU CAN TOO!

Less than a month ago, a colleague invited me to a networking event. Years ago, we attended many events in New York; we even hosted our own events. It was great for a while. Then we began to see the same people at different events.

Not productive.

When I received her invitation, I raised an eyebrow, but I decided to GO FOR IT because I could network from the comfort of my office. (I now have a 2-hour commute to New York City).

It proved to be one of my best decisions!

In 2 weeks I have made several great contacts and am about to enter into a contract agreement with one of them. I have been given referrals, and help from people who would generally be considered my competitors.

I am now extending the same invitation to you.

Join me at 12 noon EDT tomorrow, July 2, 2009 for a complimentary, interactive networking event. You can attend this event even if you are in your car! However, you will get the greatest benefit if you are at your computer, connected to the Internet.

Get details at http://budurl.com/thebiglink.

See you on the call!

How to Save Years of Time and Thousands of Dollars Creating the Right Business

Do it Right the First Time Around!

Do you remember hearing that as a child? Didn’t that just IRK you? I
know it irked me! After all, if it were THAT easy, I WOULD have done it right
the first time around!

This is also the case when it comes to starting a business. Entrepreneurship
is alive and well, but many people spend years trying to find the right business
idea. Even the most successful Internet marketers – the so-called “gurus”
have experienced this. One of my mentors, who himself is now very successful
in his own right, spent 17 years “finding himself”; the last five
years of which he spent pursuing a field that wasn’t really right for
him. In fact, it never materialized!

Let’s put this into perspective: Let’s say a marketer spends about
$75,000 a year trying to build a business. This is not far-fetched; there are
many expenses associated with building and fine-tuning a business. Let’s
also say that this marketer really believes in himself/herself and sticks with
the business idea for 17 years. Multiply this figure by 17 (years). That equals
$1,275,000.

Let’s also assume that after those 17 years the “light bulb”
goes on and this marketer latches on to a business idea that really “takes
off”. Now s/he scraps the first idea. Although this new business is viable,
that $1, 275,000 is now lost to him/her. At this point the poor marketer starts
all over again – more time, more money. (Yikes!).

Ask yourself: “What could I have done with $1,275,000 – especially
in this economy? How many homes could I have bought or had built? How many trips could I have taken? I wouldn’t have to worry about paying for my children’s
college education, so they could have attended better schools.”

That is NOT a good place to be.

This illustration is not a stretch. This does happen. The amount of
time and money may be variable, but the principle is the same.

So, let me ask YOU:

If you had the chance to “do it right the first time”, what is
the ONE thing you would have in place that would save you time and money?

Knowing what you now know, you would have done things differently.

That is not to say that what you did was wrong. But in today’s world,
there is no time to take that same route.

As a successful business owner, you may be able to help someone who is embarking
on a new business venture to avoid similar mistakes.

I invite you to go to www.budurl.com/tperequest
and give your comments on the one thing you wish you had in place when you
started your business that would have saved you time and money.

Someone will thank you!
