CALLING ALL COACHES...

Have you ever had the unfortunate experience of giving what you thought was a great presentation only to discover when you listened to it afterward that it was permeated with “um’s”, “ah’s” and other unnecessary and annoying word fillers that have no place in public speaking? Suddenly, the message you wanted to send out to the world is unacceptable. Your first impression has been compromised. The cost of using a sound editing studio can be prohibitive. You would love to have a second chance. What do you do?

Several years ago I had a similar experience. I was interviewing one of the Internet’s very successful marketers and in the middle of the interview, an alarm went off in my kitchen – this high-pitched, screeching tone in the middle of my recording! It took us both by surprise and there was nothing that we could do about it.

After several minutes it stopped, but we both were a bit shaken and it took a while before we could collect our thoughts and continue. My guest totally understood my situation, but she had time constraints and a re-recording was not possible.

We completed the interview and on listening to the recording afterword, I discovered that in addition to the loud alarm sound in the recording, we had also engaged in some “off the record” conversation that had nothing to do with our subject, which was a book that she had written that I would be promoting in my newsletter.

What was I to do? What would you have done?

A recording studio was out of the question for me at the time. I had a newsletter scheduled to be published in a few days, and this person was scheduled to be featured in it!

There was only one thing to do – edit it myself! And oh, did I tell you? The file was on tape!

Analog. Not digital!

Did I complete the task? YES! Thankfully.

That was a little over five years ago. The result of that experience was the birth of SoundProFlo. I have learned to do things I never thought I could. It has brought many challenges from which a passion has grown. I really love what I do.

So, if you have had the unfortunate experience of having “crutch phrases” throughout your presentation, or unwanted background noise, editing those out for you will not be much of a problem for me.

You see, having also conducted teleseminars, I know the frustration of being human. Sometimes there are mistakes and circumstances over which you have no control. When your audio editor is experienced in both sides of the business, he/she is in a position to provide you with better service.

Here’s how you benefit:

  • You save money due to reduced editing time
  • You get a professional quality product without the expense of a state-of-the-art sound studio
  • You get PERSONAL ATTENTION - you're not just a “number”
  • You establish a relationship, not just an account because your editor truly understands your point of view
  • Remote recording capabilities (in some cases). I can capture your recording while you are in the comfort of your home/office, and I in mine

There’s more!

There’s also royalty-free bumper music, of varying genre, suitable for a professional recording. These 30-second files are added to your audio files both at the beginning and at the end with fade-in/fade-out sound effects, if you so desire. To hear a sampling of this music and for information on how you could benefit from having your own professional info-products, follow this link:
